Last week in Paris, Enlit Europe—the event that addresses every aspect of the Energy Agenda—welcomed 700 exhibitors, 12,000 energy professionals, 500 speakers, start-ups, scale-ups, and entrepreneurs working on solutions to accelerate the energy transition. We were thrilled to participate in this exciting event and showcase our solutions at our booth!
We were proud to be part of the Italian Pavillion, thanks to the Italian Trade Agency (ITA). Italy is one of the countries most committed to pursuing the objectives of the European Union regarding environment protection, energy security, and the reduction of polluting and climate-changing emissions.
Security Pattern presented a demo of SUM, our vulnerability monitoring platform for IoT devices. Visitors interacted with the demo and learned how continuous vulnerability monitoring is crucial to keep their (connected) devices secure. Security Pattern’s colleagues Arianna and Massimo enthusiastically showed how SUM can identify vulnerabilities and how it supports their mitigations and fixes. The text ‘VULNERABILITY MANAGEMENT IS THE SOLUTION’ on our right wall made our message crystal clear. Due to the increased need for compliance, the device manufacturer showed interest in our service.
In addition, visitors showed interest in training programs for their in-house departments. New standards and regulations are popping up, and device manufacturers are eager to understand what impact this will have on them. Standards and harmonisation within the EU were popular topics in the EU, for example, the Cyber Resiliants Act (EU) and RED.
